I Welcome You

I expect and know I will see the possibilities and opportunities in this situation. I will Know when to take action. And, I will be the best version of me that I can possibly be.

I welcome this fear and I take it’s hand as I walk through the foggy illusion fear creates. As I reach the other side I gently release the hand of fear and lovingly whisper, “Thank you.”

Thank you for helping me to see and know the walls as an illusion. The walls I have felt trapped within, no matter which path I chose.

Thank you for allowing me to see that even though I may outwardly seem to conform; within I know the Truth. I hold that Truth close to my Heart, so that I may freely and openly share the Gift of my Heart as only I can do in the Way I came forth to share.

I thank you for helping me to see the opportunities and possibilities in seemingly difficult situations. I thank you for teaching me ….

Facing Fear – I Welcome You

Grateful and Love and Beautiful and Blessed and Clearing

Just after sunset walk sometime in August 2018 …

August 12 2018:

Sunset walk with Thomas tonight. Incredibly grateful we can see the sky again!! Love walks with Thomas!

August 14 2018:

Sunset walk with Lillian last night. I’m deeply grateful for the beautiful respite nature provides during times of uncertainty. Incredibly blessed.

August 16 2018:

Solo sunset walk tonight. Gotta get out there earlier. Thank you Nature for the beautiful breeze as I walked, the orange glow of the sunset, and the amazing clouds and trees.

As much as I want Nature to provide the solution and answers, she can only help clear the sludge from the heart …. where the solutions and answers rest. May I relinquish fear, May I respond from Love, May I have Faith and Trust. These are my intentions. And, so it is.

Marshmallows and Lao Tzu

August 11 2018:

I’m pretty sure I’ve perfected oven s’mores. Look at these beautiful marshmallows!! Ya can’t even see the graham cracker underneath and NO marshmallow spillover!!

I added the piece of dark chocolate and graham cracker top after this picture!! They are so pretty, I wanted a naked picture of them!

Movie Night: My Neighbor Totoro

August 18 2018:

Team TLC movie night – Thomas’ choice: “My Neighbor Totoro” – We watched this years ago, so second time around for this one. Thomas wanted to see it again.

Thomas says, “It was good. The book is better.”

Lillian says, “Good, liked the ending music, like the story plot, satisfying, cliffhanger, and liked the theme song.”

I say, “Sweet and heart warming story.”

Book Musings: Crossing Niagara

August 18 2018:

Crossing Niagara – The Death-Defying Tightrope Adventures of the Great Blondin

Exciting story of Jean Francois Gravelet, the one known as the Great Blondin. Mostly about his claim to fame of crossing Niagara Falls on a tightrope.

He not only crossed on a tightrope, he crossed on a tightrope blindfolded, reading the paper, with a wheelbarrow, on stilts, with his feet and hands chained, with his feet in buckets, and with a man on his back. Great person to learn about.

Water Dance by Camilla Downs

August 12 2018:

Water Dance

As the suns reflection
Becomes a dancer
Of the water,
She takes by the hand
the one who walks.

She whispers sweet reminders,
To the walkers heart.

She dances elegantly.
She dances of love and grace.
She dances unknown ….

What Do We Truly Mean When We Say I Love You by Camilla Downs

June 23 2018:

I Love You

What do we truly mean when we say we love and accept another?

Do we love and accept the idea of them?

Do we love and accept them for how they make us feel?

or

Do we love and accept them for who they know themselves to be?

What do we truly mean when we say we we love and accept another?

Do we mean no matter what you tell me about yourself, my love will ever be there.
Do we mean no matter what you tell me about yourself, I accept you.
Do we mean no matter what you tell me about yourself, you are worthy.

Movie Night: Radio

August 11 2018:

Team TLC Movie Night – My choice: “Radio”

I say, “What a beautiful story! Priorities and Kindness. An inspiring true story about priorities of the Heart and Loving Kindness. Loved it!”

Thomas says, “I like it a lot and like the true story it’s based on.”

Lillian says, “Good, has funny scenes, liked some of the music, and suspenseful.”

UNO and Car Wash and Swimming and The Guest House

August 5 2018:

UNO time with Lillian!

August 5 2018:

Sunday’s fun adventure!! The car wash!! We came. We saw. We laughed. We went through the worlds largest blow dryer. What an experience! Seriously. Who takes 14 pictures going through the car wash??!! Hahaha!! 😂😜

Rosey is incredibly clean now. I’m so blessed we still have fun doing this after all these years. She’s so clean, we could live in her!

August 6 2018:

Homeschool swimming fun at Historic Bowers Mansion. Plus one accidental photo. Thought it was cool as it shows Thomas’ haphazard flip flops, and the fact that he got more sunscreen on the concrete than himself, plus my wet leg and a refreshed me!! That water is cold, yet felt so darn good!!

August 8 2018:

Am I the only one in the Twilight Zone the past 2 months?

My brain is tired, my body aches, and the rug keeps being pulled out from under me.

And, I’m sure I’m the one pulling the rug. I’m the tormentor and I’m the holder of the key to freedom.

I keep getting the two confused! I’ve been trying to fit into the box and the Universe keeps squishing it flat and sending it back to me!

Holding on by my fingernails … Come August 21st I best have grown those damn wings cause that’s when the last fingernail breaks loose …

I think I’ll go with Rumi on this on …. This Rumi quote hangs on our fridge to remind me when I need it. Oceans of thanks Rumi …. xoxo

It’s time to be grateful for and honorably treat these guests of sorrows who are sweeping the house empty ….

Tomorrow, that is. I shall treat them honorably and be grateful tomorrow. Tonight, I rest …. and perhaps they will rest too … xoxo …. Oceans of love to any and all who be hosting a house of sorrows lately …. YOU are not alone! xoxo
