I’m so excited! Look what I was tagged with this morning on instagram! The lovely artist Jessica Araus is beginning work on the cover of Words of Alchemy. She went outside and picked dandelions for inspiration rather than using simply a photograph. You are amazing Jessica!!! Thomas and Camilla May 2019 Date Day …
First stop: Burger Me for a veggie burger and garlic fries for me, cowboy burger and onion rings for Thomas.
Second stop: Avengers Endgame … It’s been 2 or 3 years since I’ve been to a theater. Tuesday afternoon seems like a great time to go! Not full. And quiet!
I’ve not seen ANY of these Avenger movies and was able to follow it pretty good. Thomas filled me in briefly before the show and filled in the rest afterwards.
Love date days with Thomas!! 😍😍😍
He loved the movie. One of his favorite scenes was the end with the classic good guy vs bad guy scene. He loved the music, especially “The Portal” which is the music for this scene. He had a favorite character and lines also.
I am so happy I took him to see this. It is such a joy to watch one’s child developing their own interests and to learn about these interests and their likes and dislikes. He’s definitely got an ear for soundtracks in movies and online games. He knows things about them, I never even knew about this topic. Like the psychology behind the notes and such.
He also has an eye for movies … Things I can’t even begin to describe as I don’t even know the wording. I can’t wait to see where he goes with his strengths and knowledge.

Lillian and I visited the Wilbur May Arboretum this afternoon. So incredibly peaceful. Such beauty. Squirrels, robins, butterflies … quiet … What a treasure …. 💜💜💜 Amazing shadows too. The sun posed beautifully!! Loads of fun playing with photographing the sun!
Every time I went to take a picture, the camera was reversed. I figured it must be trying to tell me something, so I took lots of selfies!! That’s the most solo selfies I’ve taken in a years time!! I’ve taken enough solo selfies to last the rest of the year! Ha! ….. We ran into a photographer looking for butterflies. She found us instead! And took a few photos of us! Ha!

It was the long walk today. What a beautiful walk it was. Light, free, joyful. Listened to the birdsong. Felt the warmth of the sun and the lovely breeze. Smelled lilacs. Tasted my true self. Sensed newness in my bones. What a beautiful walk it was.

Mother Nature showed up in a beautiful way for Earth Day. She called me out for three walks. One with Lillian. One by myself. And one with Thomas.
She knew after I spent the morning looking into how much to replace the radiator in our car, I would need some Nature Love. 💙 🌏 🌏 🌏💚

April 8 2019:
Lillian and Camilla April 2019 Date Day! First, a stop to look for a new skirt or dress for Lillian. Found one! Yay!!
Next was a stop for fries ….. they were out of fries so she tried the sweet potato tots. Oh my goodness! Those were good!!
Pink and yellow frosted sugar cookie for her and we split the other two goodies. A vegan Neapolitan cupcake (good grief, that was so good) and a vegan snicker doodle cookie dough bite. Next stop was an incredibly windy walk.

March 26 2019:
Lillian and Camilla March 2019 Date Day …. Lets be true and authentic here. I don’t post behind the scenes a whole lot. Yet, feel it’s important as a society not to hide the unloveliness of life.
It’s been more than a week since I’ve had uninterrupted good nights sleep. Last night Lillian woke me up about 4 times.
This morning after waking up, Lillian threw up. Just a random throwing up episode. She used to have this happen quite often. But, it’s been years since the last occurrence.
She did not want to call off her date. Even though it was going to be a short date as I had a 1:00 doctors appointment for Thomas.
So … at 3:00 we left the house for her traditional fries. Now, for the date details. 😃🎉
Fries for Lillian (and me!) Vegan brownie for me and iced sugar cookie for her. She wanted to go for a walk; but was too tired. So, we went for a nice drive through our old neighborhoods. Pulled over and took this amazing photo!! 💚💙
She’s quite the stubborn gal. She didn’t want to wait until nevt week when we had more time and when she felt better (and me too) as that would not be a March date in March. It would be a March date in April. Ugh!
