Thomas and I finally made it back after about 3 weeks off. Loved on some seriously amazing kitties and then spent a half hour folding litter boxes.

November 21 2015:
So grateful for the young man I get to call my son. Lillian and I have been down with a cold. I went to bed at 6:30 last night. He came into the bedroom and told me this house just isn’t a home without me in the living room with them. Then he felt my forehead and after checking with a thermometer we saw I had a 100 degree fever. He ran and got an ice pack for me. So extremely blessed!
I had the most interesting experience during the 2 hours I was resting in the bedroom. Instead of sleeping my thoughts overflowed with a presentation on having a successful mindful business, how to be mindful with customers and clients. It was all so clear, my heart was racing, and I was pumped up to share this wonderful information. I was in front of a huge room of people speaking about this topic with many dear friends who were there to support me.
I kept thinking that I needed to get up and get it all down so I wouldn’t forget; yet my body was so achy and tired. Then I knew I wouldn’t forget it. It’s there and not going anywhere. Now. Who I am supposed to present this too?? HA!
Definitely the MOST interesting sickness I have ever experienced. I chose this time to be with and connect with the aches and pains and ickiness instead of wishing it weren’t there and pushing it away. Very interesting ….

Shhhhh …. They are still sleeping and I’m savoring a yummy piping hot winter blend coffee and a chocolate frosted gluten free donut.
I was up late making rather merry …. Poring over and combing through a special proof book to ensure corrections only have to be made once! I hope that counts as a Christmas present since it’s all I’ve been immersed in for a while!

We have quite the walk from where the car is parked to our cozy little place. I buy spring water from a tank, filling 3 gallon jugs, and I’ve been using a broken cart with one wheel missing to haul them inside! No more!!
Got to use this sweet cart last night on a water run. WOW!! So much better and easier!

I love creating with recycled items! Grocery bag handle for hanging, crumpled packing paper wrapped around a thick piece of cardboard that was inside of a new wall calendar.
Poem written by me, glass stones, sun and hearts of silver and gold beads, three dragonflies with the letters T,L,C, and flower of dark green pearl beads and blue crystal bead, and yarn grass. Lastly a heart prayer box locket with a tiny gold heart in it. (Team TLC colors are blue and green.)

Team TLC New Year’s Eve 2017 – Walking and Collage Boards and Letting Go
December 31 2017:
Thomas and I went for one last walk for 2017. Then home for working on our 2018 collage boards and paper strips for a letting go burning ceremony later tonight.
And, next, celebrating on east coast time watching the ball drop and toasting with pink grapefruit Italian soda! Then listening to two of my favorite songs …. Imagine and Watching the Wheels. Peace and Love.

A Weekend of Indulging and Hot Chocolate
December 3 2017:
It was a weekend of indulging …. or so it felt. I had been craving grapefruit. I bought one on Friday and enjoyed every tart and juicy bite.
I had been craving spaghetti. I bought the ingredients for that along with a loaf of fresh baked bread. Friday night I had vegan, gluten free spaghetti with cauliflower “meatballs” in a home made sauce that was one of the best tasting I’ve ever made.
Saturday night I had an amazing, mushroom flat bread with a fresh tomato salad. And, tonight basmati rice with broccoli, potato medallions, and another fresh tomato salad.
Sunday morning was pancakes with wild Maine blueberries and raw honey … Yum!!
For the past three days I have been in food heaven; simply melting into this yummy food … belly tingling good stuff. Good food is so incredibly good. Good food warms my heart, brings forth joy and gratitude, and loads of love. I love good food …. xoxo

Yum, yum …. Hot chocolate with vegan, gluten free peppermint marshmallows. Warmed me just right after going for walk earlier this morning when it was a crisp 30 degrees.

I am filled with gratitude for the unconditional love of my Mama, Patty Romano, and my step-father, Frank Romano ….
They never openly judge or question my actions or inactions. They support me the best way they can and know how. I missed my Mama so much during all those years from 6th grade through the age of 20 years old. I’m happy for the times we saw each other during that time and am grateful and blessed we’ve made up for all that missed time in the last 22 years.
I love you lady with all my heart, body and soul and am blessed to pieces that you are my Mama!! Frank: I’m grateful that you came into my Mama’s life 26 years ago … You are a sexy, kind, gentle, giving, rockin Italian ROCK STAR of a man!!!!!!! Thank you for being such a fabulous step-father and grandfather to Thomas and Lillian!!!
