Thomas and Camilla April 2018 Date Day ….
Annual fundraiser for the school Thomas attended for 1st-4th grade …. Kids on Big Rigs 2018.
This would be pure torture for me if I didn’t know it creates much joy and happiness for Thomas. It’s incredibly loud with sirens and horns blowing non-stop. Thomas doesn’t care for that part at all, he loves to ask questions and look at the vehicles and equipment. And, he did ask many, many great questions.
Yet, I did have a complete ball dancing to the DJ music while we waited in line for the wee little train ride. If there’s good music, I can have fun as long as I can dance. Plus, with that big beautiful blue sky overhead, I was able to look up, focus on my breath and create a buffer between all the noise.
Last stop: Late lunch of salad and club sandwich for Thomas and cup of vegan mushroom soup for me. Oh my gosh!! That was delicious!!!
April 22 2018:
We spent as much time outside as possible today to show our love to Mama Gaia. Lillian and I took a very slow and relaxing walk around the lake, had fun with our shadows, found some cool tree shadows, and picked up trash. Then headed home to eat lunch on the patio.
This afternoon we went to one of our favorite parks to read and throw the frisbee. And then home to the lodge patio and grills for grilling Thomas and Lillian’s dinner.

It’s been an afternoon of phone calls … Ingram Books, Createspace, and scheduling appointments for Lillian. Thankfully I went for a walk this morning and sat for a bit by the water. Ahhhhhh ….. (photo of where I sat)
Nearing completion of changes that need to be made so Lillian can have a book signing at the Reno Barnes & Noble and they can have them for sale there too! One form to fill out and email and then we wait for the change to process.
YAY for progress!!! xoxo
April 8 2018:
We haven’t had a TV since 2008, so I wasn’t sure we’d be able to see this. I found a way to watch! Not the best quality, yet, we went to the gym at the lodge and used the wee televisions attached to the gym equipment. Didn’t have ear buds with us so we turned on CC.

Fear Alchemized – Who Will Love Them Unconditionally?
As she took in the message that family means much more than those whom she was born amongst, she felt deep sadness within for having not a close relationship with those whom, by blood, she is connected. A deep sadness also for having not friends or community that are like family.
A sadness that sank and spread to include sadness that her kids know not a close knit relationship with those whom one traditionally calls family …. Go below to read further …

Solo walk this morning. Shadows, a crow, and blossoms. That’s definitely a story and I’m in the midst of it. Nature speaks loudly of silence and Knowing.
