February 22 2014:

“I’m the queen of the mountain!” – Lillian Darnell

Celebration time! This young lady remembered all on her own today that she needed to get a book for school from the library. I did not remind her at. All! We did not even discuss it today or yesterday.

Also in the past week, she has been doing basic addition and subtraction in her mind!! This girl! This girl who stood on this little hill today and without any prompting from me said, “I’m the queen of the mountain!”

Celebrate those milestones whenever they come …. however long it takes! ♡

February 26, 2017 … Happy Birthday Camilla!!

Happy Birthday to me! Team TLC enjoyed a late breakfast.

Courageous Cappuccino and Vegan Hash for me. Breakfast sandwich for Thomas and Liege Waffle for Lillian. And for desert for all of us …… Raw and Vegan Triple Chocolate cake …. So incredibly delicious!

Thank you Great Full Gardens South Meadows Reno for the birthday discount, the amazing, loving environment, and delicious food! Love does indeed live here!

“How do you freeze a bubble?” –Thomas … He still continues to ask some amazing questions. I have no idea the answer to this one!!

He sang “Happy Birthday” to me first thing this morning. He also created a huge hidden happy face and happy-birthday-playing-notes on mine craft!

Birthday dinner! Baked potato medallions, sautéed portobello mushrooms with sweet onion, and arugula, beet, and cucumber salad. And for dessert … fresh mango! Yum!! xoxo

Beautiful animated birthday message Lillian made for me using Scratch programming. Look at that beautiful blue and green cake!!! Aqua is my favorite color. Followed by any variations of blue and green. xoxo

Happy Birthday to Baby Camilla! WoW! I’ve lived so many lives since these pictures!! I began my love affair with chocolate at a very early age!

All the adventures, experiences, joy, love, laughter, sadness, hurt, and uncomfortable moments ….. Lifetimes of LEARNING!! ….. Learning and heading back Home …

Lillian says, “Good, amazing, cool, great, and funny.”

I say, “Fun to watch with Thomas and Lillian. Just love Christopher Lloyd as the professor!”

What Is This

“What is this?” –Lillian …..

After I stopped laughing, I explained. I know many households still use them and I told her that. Yet, we haven’t had a land line since about 2007.

We’ve not had a television since about 2008 and several years ago there was a special running that caused it to be cheaper for internet if you got the cable/internet package. I said, “Sign me up! But, no need for an appointment for the cable, cause I don’t have a TV!” So funny!

So how do we have movie night once a week? The movies come from the library, every once in a while from Amazon on demand, and I play them on a portable DVD player connected to a projector.

Then I project it onto the wall … It’s huge!! Like being at a theater in the comfort of your own home! HA!

I also have one of those little tiny speakers connected to the DVD player so we can actually hear it! We have interesting looking walls in the living room. Things hanging on every wall, except the biggest wall …. Can’t mess up the screen area! xoxo

Are You Really Living in the Present Moments of Life

“Live in the present. That’s in the past. Let it go.” –Lillian Darnell ...

We teach what we most need to learn. Thank you Lillian for sometimes being the student and sometimes being the teacher.

I stand at the beginning of my third week of confronting some deeply buried crud. I feel this week will be the climax and I’m grateful for all that I’ve shared and modeled for Thomas and Lillian as they hold space for me when I need it most.

This year’s theme for me is “The Shift” and I don’t seem to be wasting any time! xoxo – May this resonate with whoever it resonates with … xoxo

“It’s time to step into the flames of the fire. The time is now to connect with that which you fear from your past. The past no longer exists and cannot cause you harm. However, when it is avoided and sidestepped; it does indeed cause you harm.

Movie Review: Salmon Fishing in the Yemen

Team TLC movie night ….. “Salmon Fishing in the Yemen” –

Thomas says, “Funny, good, moving, happy, twist ending, fun to watch, and just plain good.”

Lillian says, “Good, twist ending, awesome, cool, funny texting scenes, interesting, suspenceful, amazing, and funny.”

There were some scenes I had to sensor due to language and intimacy. However, I sure enjoyed it! “Life, love, passion, faith, miracles, kindness, spirituality, and wisdom. Three worlds bound by water. If you dream a dream strong enough ….” … Loved it!!!
