Will You Please Help Lillian Get Back to Herself

November 6 2013:

Lillian had a melt down a few mornings ago complete with she’s moving out, she hates it here and calling Thomas and I idiots. Once she calmed down, she asked in a different, quiet, deep and more mellow voice, “Camilla, will you please help Lillian get back to herself”.

I said, “Absolutely!”, and asked how I could help? Then I helped her get dressed. Later I asked who it was that asked me to help get her back to herself. She told me her name, which I forgot, and said that she was a professional ballet dancer. I said that it was very kind of her friend to come along and help her get through that rough moment …

Lillian has these melt downs about 1 to 4 times per week. Usually it’s when we are getting ready to leave for school or anywhere else. She does not like to be rushed and reminded to complete the next step of getting ready. I choose to mostly ignore her unkind comments as I know that’s not the true Lillian.

The more I do not acknowledge the melt down and the more I remain calm the sooner she is able to bring herself back to the true Lillian. I am so truly grateful for all that this beautiful little soul has taught me about myself and life! xoxo

How Do You Connect and Release With Emotions

I was feeling deeply down in the dump yesterday morning. Part of me wanted to sit and sulk and feel sorry myself. Yet, another part of me new that the time is now to start doing it different.

So I made a conscious decision to let myself feel this down moment, yet to also just do something …. anything. I’m purging the filing cabinet so as to pass it on, so I grabbed a folder and began going through it.

Rather than make a neat little pile of recycle items, I decided to do it different. I just threw them over my shoulder. Thomas and Lillian had a ball watching me as I was making faces and wild sounds while doing it.

I felt more like myself by the time I was finished, too. Feeling and release are so incredibly wonderful. Then Thomas and I went to Washoe Lake for our date day. Nature stepped in and helped to clear the remnants. As we drove home, I felt lighter, considerably different, and much better! xoxo

Releasing the Dumps Camilla 11.22.17

This was great! Of course, I didn’t think so at the time but it felt good to be bringing laughter to Thomas and Lillian at the same time as connecting with the heaviness I felt. xoxo

You Make Us Laugh

I’m purging and cleaning out the filing cabinet so to be sold and Thomas is reading some old Toastmasters magazines. One has an article on how to cause your audience to laugh …. The above are Thomas’ thoughts on my abilities in that department … Guess I got that one covered … I seriously cannot believe how much speaking and presentations I used to do. Holy Heck! I was a speaking crazy woman! Guess I ran out of stuff to say ….. for a while … HA! xoxo

Finding and Fixes Those Glitches – Where Would You Fly

Yesterday our beautiful and wise angel book designer was able to finally find the culprit of one of the glitches in the interior!!! Just one left now!!!! Wahooo!

Plus, I saw the back cover design last night and am so excited!! Looks beautiful! A few tweaks to that and it’s finished too!

More Purging and It’s Empty

Today is the day we are squishing the last of our contents from The Romano Duo’s storage unit into this wee 800 sq foot place. The patio is getting full and it is time to purge once again. One more trip and it will be empty!

Done!!! I plan to never use one of these again … unless we are transitioning from one place to another. Three trips here, one to Goodwill, and one to the recycling bin.

Our patio looks horrible, yet it’s all out and now I’m on a purging quest! Posting lots of items on our resident portal. Be gone stuff!!

Another step done!! Bar code and graphic purchased and generated. There are a massive amount of steps to this entire process. Some of which can be skipped to get it done more quickly.

Yet, I prefer to take all of the same steps, fill out all the forms, and do as much as possible as if this was being published by one of the big dawgs! Loving Kindness Books may be a small team of three (Team TLC) but we sure don’t have to look like it! Onward!!! xoxo
