May 10 2014

Mini date with Thomas today. Looked at a place for rent, went to Stone Age and had an amazing time looking at all the rocks and crystals and got us a few goodies too, then looking at guinea pigs, birds and fish!! Cold and rainy so we decided against our usual outdoor date style!! Now, if we could just combine the library/used book store and the Stone Age store into the Team TLC house … WOW!! I don’t know if we’d ever want to leave!! xoxo

We had a ball laughing with this goldfish. He was amazing!!!

Good Golly!! This place is fabulous … Stone Age .. Full of all kinds of amazing goodies! Got a chunk of opal, white quartz, and fuschsite, a gorgeous amethyst pendulum, a green aventurine pendent and a special little goody for Thomas and Lillian for Mother’s Day. YES! I am going to give each of them a gift tomorrow! I do it different around here! xoxo

We enjoyed learning about Ruth Elder who attempted to fly across the Atlantic Ocean before Amelia Earhart made her crossing. Ruth didn’t make it, yet she went on to accomplish much in aviation history.

Absolutely gorgeous and beautiful sunset walk with Thomas yesterday. Just adore the way the trees and the sun play together. Love capturing their beauty.

Found a quiet shaded spot, took the shoes off, stood barefoot in the grass, touched the grass with my fingers ….. breathed it in and breathed it out.

When one receives news that brings forth fire breathing anger, she is there to let you know it’s okay to let yourself feel this old and new anger. Feel it. Let it all bubble to the surface. Scream. Sob. Cuss. I will help you release it.

Deeply grateful to Mother Nature. Ahhhhh ….. Here’s to a new day! So good at what she does .. 🙏💙💚💙💚💙💚🙏

Lillian and I had an appointment on Thursday and these beauties surrounded the building and parking lot. The smell!!!! Divine!!!

From a quick walk Friday night. I very much enjoy the challenge of aligning the trees, and branches, and sun. Just love how the sun, trees, and bushes model for me. They’re the best!! 💛🌸

Team TLC Movie Night – Thomas’ choice: “Captain America – The First Avenger”

Thomas says, “It was good! I liked it!”

I say, “Loved it! And love Tommy Lee Jones!!Thomas and I watched Endgame last month on our date day so I thought we should watch them all! Score brownie points for me as I surprised him! He hasn’t been this excited for movie night in a while!”

Lillian sat this one out. 😃

June 2 2019:

Currently reading. A couple of them, I’m reading for a second or third time.

Incredibly excited about reading the book on top! As I’ve interviewed the author on Meeting the Authors and can’t wait for her interview to post!!

I’ve just barely started it, yet, already loving it. Knew I would!

June 3 2019:

Most delicious lunch I’ve had in a while. Vegan tamales topped with daiya cheese and spicy salsa. So yum …

June 7 2019:

Some of the most delicious mashed potatoes I’ve ever tasted. Mashed with skins on along with a handful of corn and dashes of Umami seasoning and sea salt.

Piled high, topped with a pat of Miyoko’s butter, and sprinkled with Daiya cheese. Anchored with a couple of delicious trees (what Lillian called broccoli when she was young). That was my dinner … with a yummy salad. And I am so full! Will be having that again!! 😋😋😋
