Asking for Help and Please and Thank YOU – Chromosome 18 Family Conference

July 13 2019:

I’ve never used this before … Yet, I’m kinda, sort of, like, REALLY exhausted and was moved to give this a go for the wee bit remaining to fully cover the cost of this year’s Chromosome 18 Conference. If it moves you and you feel it the right thing to do, please share. Much love! The conference is being held July 21st-24th in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Once a year she gets the opportunity to be amongst friends and those who get her, those who judge not. Once a year, she gets the opportunity to attend a life changing event. And, every year it does, sometimes a small change, sometimes a huge change. She chooses the time approaching this once a year event, and at the event itself, to conquer fears so as to have exciting news to share with friends …….

Visit this link to read more and to share should it move you. With deep gratitude for all who have shared and donated in the past few days. https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-lillian-spread-her-wings

**THROWBACK POST**

May 11 2015

For the last few years I’ve given a note and a small gift to Thomas and Lillian on Mothers Day. Doing this just speaks to me. I do love receiving the beautiful hand made gifts they make too. And do enjoy the day of specific gratitude for moms. They have been looking at these soaps for months now so I got them each a bar. xoxo

Hello beautiful friends, family, and some wonderful people I really just don’t know! Hahaha! If you enjoy, are inspired by, motivated by or just love the content, writings, poetry and photography I share here and on CamillaDowns.com, MeetingtheAuthors.com or TheTeamTLC.com; I invite you to buy me a coffee!!

I put a ton of work into all of these venues, and I love doing it! I need plenty of caffeine to keep up with all these things, on top of being a single mom to two beautiful (and one incredibly needy) kiddos!! Much love to all of YOU! xoxo

Thank you to those who have bought a coffee, rounds of coffee, even! Deeply blessed! -Camilla

Majestic and Magical Lake Tahoe

June 26 2019:

Lillian and I had planned on visiting the Incline Village library yesterday as she wanted to get movies for the long weekend with The Romano Duo (which started today)! Yay!!!! Respite for me started today through Saturday afternoon!!! Wahoooo!!!

We were delayed making our way up there as we had to make a quick run to the doctor for Lillian to have the redness underneath her eye checked. And to confirm it’s allergy related. (For those that don’t know the area, Incline Village and Lake Tahoe are a 30-40 minute drive from here.)

We finally arrived at the library 10 minutes before closing. Good thing we’re fast as we found about 10 movies and checked out with 1 minute to spare! Three years ago, leading up to the 2016 Chromosome 18 Conference, Lillian conquered her fear of using the stairs without my assistance. She wanted to revisit that fear before we left the library!! Yes!!! Go Lillian go!! 💥💥💥

I did not want to have driven all that way for only a 10 minute stop at the library. So we visited Kings Beach to bask in the sand, sky, trees, wind, waves, and the magical and majestic Lake Tahoe. She’s a beauty, isn’t she?

Love the wee bubbles of splashing water captured in the first photo! And what a wonderful photo of Lillian looking at the lake. The photos I’ve been posting don’t do her justice. So magical.

A wonderful story Lillian wrote in honor of National Donut Day earlier this month …

One day, a donut named Liana was walking toward a building called Friendship Inc. and wondered if someone in this building would be her friend. Little did she know, a watermelon named Summer was running toward the Friendship Inc. building and wondering the same thing.

When Liana and Summer reached the …..
