More Research on Supported Decision Making

September 5 2019:

I’ll be immersed in this for the next few days. Thought I could wait a bit longer and come back around to it. However, our move in date to the new place happens 2 days after Lillian turns 18. She will have to sign the lease and/or I’ve got to have this bit figured out.

September 6 2019:

Done reviewing the handouts. Moving on to the websites now. Here are a few slides that stood out for me. 👀 Deeply appreciative to Diana for getting me copies of the slides and handouts as I found out about this workshop on the morning it was to happen.

The New Place While Making My Way Reading

August 12 2019:

Got to see the new place this afternoon .. styling with the orange vest and hard hat!! Less than a month now … We will lose a few great aspects of this place and community; yet, will gain great aspects that this one does not have. 🎉🎉🎉

August 13 2019:

Making my way through the “to do” list for this month and September. With Lillian turning 18 in September and our move in September, there’s much that needs addressed.

After two days spent educating myself about the qualifying aspects of SSI, I think I can check that one off the list. What a relief and weight off my shoulders for that one!

Now to address a call today that due to an agency losing paperwork that I followed instructions for submitting, and for which Lillian has received services for 2 months; they have decided she has to get on a wait list since they lost the paperwork the first time around. Tomorrow. I will deal with you tomorrow. I’m on a roll!! Bring it!

August 15 2019:

Currently reading. One is the second time around. I have different books for different times of the day. Two for early morning reading and one or two for before bed. How about you? What are you reading? Do you read different genres for different times of day? Or is that my special thang? Haha!

Life Adventures: An Update from Camilla Downs

August 3 2019:

Written mostly to update blog subscribers. However, thought I’d share here too …

It’s been over a month since I’ve written or published anything on my blog, with my postings being much less frequent on facebook and instagram. I felt moved to share an update.

I have been busy with finishing tasks to get my upcoming book released by the end of Summer. Here’s a peek at the cover. Almost there with the cover!

I was wrapped in details of …..

I See Why They Call It Garden of the Gods

Had to give this it’s own post as this place was simply magical …

July 21 2019:

This place brought such peace to my heart and soul. My eyes pooled with liquid awe and gratitude and awe as I basked in the nurturing energies. Deeply moving. 🙏🏼💞

We are in Colorado Springs for the 2019 Chromosome 18 Family Conference. Thomas and I visited Garden of the Gods this afternoon. Thomas says, “I can see why it’s called Garden of the Gods”. Yes, Thomas. I could see it and feel it.

Lillian and Camilla May 2019 Date Day

May 24 2019:

Lillian and Camilla May 2019 Date Day

First stop was to pick up the printed graduation announcements.

Second stop – Fries and a bright and beautiful shortbread cookie for Lillian. Crispy cauliflower with a siracha aioli sauce and a vegan oatmeal coconut raisin cookie for me. The cauliflower was amazing. So incredibly good and perfect amount of spiciness in the sauce. 🧡🧡🧡

Last stop – Craft store for sparkly things to embellish the graduation announcements. Lillian still has Christmas money so she picked out a shiny pencil case she’s had her eye on to use for traveling with her colored pencils.

Peaceful and Quiet While the Blossoms Sway in the Wind

May 13 2019:

Sunset walk with Thomas yesterday. It was peaceful and quiet … and beautiful …. ☀️💛

May 14 2019:

Two short walks yesterday. One in the morning and one at sunset. Just adore the colors of this tree and its blossoms against the blue sky.

May 17 2019:

Afternoon walk today. Gotta capture these beautiful blossoms while they last. They don’t stick around long!

Underneath Wild Clouds With Birds Serenading in a Field of Miniature Flowers

May 6 2019:

Crazy fun clouds on today’s walk.

May 7 2019:

Absolutely breathtaking walk this morning. I was serenaded with birdsong nearly the entire walk.

May 8 2019:

Afternoon walk with Thomas yesterday. So much loving this little patch of tiny yellow flowers!! 💛💚💛💚💛💚

Goodbye Dreamcatcher Friend

April 28 2019:

The only earrings I’ve worn for the past 6 or 7 years. Seriously, no others have been worn during that time.

They’ve always been deeply special for me and they’ve always held a beautiful energy. Mom and Frank got them for me in New Mexico about 7 years ago.

I lost one this past Tuesday. I had put them in my bag and one must have been caught on my keys when I pulled them out.

Change, shifting, something is definitely occurring. There’s this loss of a special earring and what I’m letting go of on Wednesday, the 4th.

I will miss you dear earring and sad you are with me no longer. Yet, I’m feeling an interesting and tingly excitement for what’s to come.

The sole earring that remains will become a part of my alter. And on occasion, I may just wear one earring. What the heck! 💙💙💙

Thomas and Camilla April 2019 Date Day

April 27 2019:

Thomas and Camilla April 2019 Date Day – First stop – Kids on Big Rigs 2019

Thomas had a blast shooting water from the bag the Forest Service guys use (forgot to ask what it’s called)!! I may have done it too!! 💦 💦 💦

That handcar is a workout!! Couldn’t get a picture of us on there as my hands were busy! 😜 It was uphill on the way back! Whew! His favorite was the emergency radio vehicle!

Second stop – An appetizer and soup at Great Full Gardens South Meadows Reno.

Organic blue corn chips with amazing salsa and guacamole! Chayote chowder for me and totally tomato for Thomas. And look at the gorgeous salt n pepper shakers! My dream house! Ahhhhh …
