Me. A hot steamy cup of organic Sumatra black coffee. A super delicious vegan super fruit muffin. Gorgeous trees outside the window. A most satisfying combination. 💙💙

That. Was. Delicious!!! Baked red potato smushed into a bowl of vegan chili, sliced open and topped with Miyoko’s “butter”, sweet onions, and Daiya cheese. I couldn’t even eat it all. Filling and YUM!!

I once accidentally knocked a receipt into her house that I needed for a return. I felt like a child saying the dog ate my homework when I handed the chewed receipt to the cashier. Sorry. Our Guinea pig thought it was hers and chewed it! 😱🤣

Lillian Darnell – Graduating June 2019

Have spent nearly all day creating Lillian Darnell’s High School Transcript! Oh my goodness! Her official graduation date will be June 1st; which also happens to be National Donut Day … HA! And, the book signing event at Barnes & Noble!

We’ll be celebrating with donuts and books!! I’m sure we will have a wee live online celebration for Lillian’s long distance friends and family too. Stay tuned … What a journey!

St. Peter’s Umbrella

I have been incorporating more fiction into my reading as that was my first love. More coming … The list is already growing of what I’ve read so far …. And, there’s a fiction or two wanting to be birthed from my heart.

Written by one of the most popular story-tellers of Hungarian literature. This was one of the most popular he ever wrote. Wonderful story that held my attention. Nearing the end I couldn’t put it down as I wanted to know how it all unfolded. Great story built from the ground up surrounding an elusive and honored red umbrella.

This book was purchased at a library sale years ago for Lillian. I’ve been wanting to read it ever since … 😍😍😍

Movie Night: When Marnie Was There

Team TLC movie night – Lillian’s choice: “When Marnie Was There” – Second time around for this one as we watched it many years ago. Lillian and I wanted to see it again.

Lillian says, “Good, suspenseful, emotional, liked the music, and my favorite character is Marnie. 100% recommend it!”

I say, “This is my favorite Studio Ghibli movie. Sweet and beautiful story of a young girl coming to know the truth of her life and her true self; releasing the stories she had been telling herself. Just adore this story.”

Thomas sat this one out.

Walks of Cold and Walks of Warmth with Sun Shadows of Selfie Treasures

Sunset walk with Thomas yesterday. Beautiful. But. Brrrrr …. Cold!!

May 2 2019:

Lillian and I visited the Wilbur May Arboretum this afternoon. So incredibly peaceful. Such beauty. Squirrels, robins, butterflies … quiet … What a treasure …. 💜💜💜  Amazing shadows too. The sun posed beautifully!! Loads of fun playing with photographing the sun! 

Every time I went to take a picture, the camera was reversed. I figured it must be trying to tell me something, so I took lots of selfies!! That’s the most solo selfies I’ve taken in a years time!! I’ve taken enough solo selfies to last the rest of the year! Ha! ….. We ran into a photographer looking for butterflies. She found us instead! And took a few photos of us! Ha!
